Per GDP metrics, the world is the richest it has ever been. But global poverty remains rampant, and measures such as the Gini coefficient display a growing global wealth disparity. Even in developed nations, citizens struggle to afford food, housing, and other basic necessities. There is a growing debate amongst economists on how to alleviate this global disparity — and how best to reflect it, if not by GDP. We asked UC Berkeley students how they would approach economics in this day and age.” 2."Just days after Turning Point USA’s tumultuous visit to UC Berkeley on November 10, the Department of Justice announced they’d be investigating the university’s safety and civil rights protocols. Berkeley, attorney general Pam Bondi alleges, failed to protect event attendees from the political violence of Antifa-backed protestors. For the university’s part, Dan Mogoluf affirmed that 'UC Berkeley has an unwavering commitment to abide by the laws, rules and policies that are applicable to the university.' We spoke to students to hear their thoughts. ” Please submit a Google Drive link, and ensure that link sharing is turned on.Marketing CalTV’s Marketing Department oversees the packaging and publication of all content produced by the organization.
